Western Rivers Conservancy just sent me an e-mail about "Rivers of a Lost Coast" showings in a few Northwest towns during the next week or so.

The film, which is a documentary about the legendary steelhead rivers and anglers of Northern California -- and how it all came apart -- is showing at the University of Washington on Saturday.

The trailer is on their website -- www.riversofalostcoast.com -- and it looks like a good movie.

There are other showings in Eugene, Portland, Bend and Ashland. The website has details on showtimes, etc....

For the record, I'm not involved in this movie in any way. All those guys on the Eel River would have laughed me off the water after seeing one cast....

The UW showing is this Saturday around 8:15, but tickets won't be sold at the door for some odd reason, they have to be bought off the Wild Steelhead Coalition, but it is for a good cause.

Russell Chatham and Tom Skerritt will both be in attendance so it should be interesting :beer2:

Oops! Sorry, you're right, it is Saturday, I screwed up. I changed it above. Sorry about that.:thumb:

P.S. They are also saying you have to buy tickets by Friday.
