Rockaway, OR beach fishing advice

    Rockaway, OR beach fishing advice needed

    May be heading to rockaway next weekend and was curious if the beach fishing is worth blowing off the family for abit to chase some fish. Any suggestions is much appreciated.

    Will be staying on the beach so I want to stay close to family if possible. I did a search already but didn't find much direct info. Just wondering if it's the same as here, find a point, pick a tide and hope for a cutty.

    Also check out nehalem bay state park, look on the google map....fish from shore easily at the tip location (in to the bay side)
