I am looking for a rod building class. I am in Issaquah so would like to stay on the eastside. Creekside doesn't have one scheduled but I will check with them directly to see if one is in the works. Does anyone know of another I might attend? Thanks. Steve.
Hey Steve, Steve here. I'm a self taught rod builder of 22 years. Buy a kit rod from Cabela's and it's pretty easy to start building! I still use the same 3' chunk of 2X6 with a couple of 6" pieces with "V's" notched into them for wrapping rods. I've done fiber glass, graphite and now re-doing ebay bamboo rods.
