Hook is an old bronze Mustad Blind eye

    Pattern is from Maxwell.

Took a few liberties here and there with materials (wool instead of chenille) and i left off the chenille head.
Everything else is as prescribed by the pattern.

I like the married wing and the way the white doesn't go out to the end. I can appreciate the attention to detail involved.

    Thanks guys.

THe body is actually floss, with wool at the end, picked out like a hackle...
An interesting approach to making the fly. Maxwell is also the only one to use chenille for butts and heads, which is a nightmare to find in small enough sizes.
