    if I was you id be looking for regular rplx much much better rod also to let you know the 2,3 and 4 piece models of both series were so different it sometime varied 2 line weights the 2 piece rods were the only accurate line reccomendations I used to build them and have both factory and custom in most early graphite 3 truly they didn't get multi piece down perfect til xp series

    too stiff and the Xi's load faster, The RPLX you have to upline to get the same effect. Xi's are also lighter...
    I own med fast action and med action rods...SP & LL so the RPLXi suits my casting style better IMO

    only a 990 in a 5 pc but I am pretty confident I can get one for way less than $550 if im patient
