I've cleaned out my closets, and gathered some extra gear from friends/businesses to sell in hopes of raising cash for donations to a couple Washington-based SAR groups, including Tacoma Mountain Rescue, German Shepherd Search Dogs of Washington (i.e. leading canine SAR group in the state) and the Kittitas SAR. I'll merge any money from these sales with donations gleaned from book sales and make donations by the end of the year.

Here's some great gear for your perusal (most of it new or nearly new) (FYI: I can add pictures this weekend if requested):

    1. St Croix Imperial 1764.2
7’6” 4-wt (2 piece). Nice med-fast action rod ideally suited to small streams worked with dry, dry-dropper or nymph setups. In like-new condition. New price was $220. Selling here for $150.

    2. LL Bean Double L Travel Rod. 9’ 6-wt, 8-piece
This 8-piece travel rod packs into a short (~17 inch) rod tube for easy storage in carryon bags and small duffles. The medium-action rod sports just enough tip flex to help turn over small dries nicely, while still being able to push big double-nymph rigs out across the Yakima. New condition. Never used. New price was $255. Selling here for $175

    3. FishPond Westwater Large Zippered Duffle
NEW in bag. Use it as a big boat bag, as travel luggage or just general gear storage/transport. This big zippered duffle is nearly waterproof (the material is waterproof, but the zipper isn’t). It has regular grab-handles as well as removable shoulder straps that allow the bag to be carried like a backpack. Great for travel to remote areas. It also sports a couple Velcro strap sets to secure two rod tubes to its sides. Sells new for $200. Selling here for $140.

    4. Sierra Designs Mirage 4 base-camp tent - NEW
Big enough to sleep 4 in the “bedroom” – though its most comfortable for 2 and a dog – the Mirage 4 also has a huge “front room.” The sleeping section is a free-hanging and the front room has three ‘doors’ for ventilation and easy access/ That front room has mostly floorless design, so you can set up a small camp stove, set up your camp chairs, or store your all your gear during inclement weather. It’s a great storm-right shelter well suited for fall fishing/hunting/car camping use. Sold new for $700. Selling here for $500. Never used!

SOLD!!5. Big Agnes Beeler Gulch Sl 5ºF - Long
This synthetic-fill bag is BRAND NEW. It’s a great, warm bag for cold autumn / winter nights in hunting (or fishing) camps. Big Agnes makes some of the best bags in the marketplace today, and the Beeler Gulch 5ºF is one of their best cold-weather bags. New price is $249 (for the long). Selling here for $170.

I just bought a big Agnes encampment 15 2 weeks ago or else I would have been all over that. For bigger guys these bags can't be beat.
