I just finished Jim Lichatowich's new book " Salmon, People, and Place", It's a must read for anyone who cares about anadromous fish in the Northwest. It's an easy read and is very thought provoking. I recommend it, highly.

Been debating ordering this book because-- what more can be said about the fish? Right? But, his first book had major impact on me, and I feel the need to see where he has gone from there. Am going to order it.
    Thanks Chris.

As a long time biologist in Washington and Oregon and former Assistant Chief of Fisheries for ODFW, he brings a unique perspective on why the states have struggled to " manage" Salmon and Steelhead.
