    Hi,
I'm looking for a Scott SAS 9 footer in a 5 or 6 weight. It's an older Scott model. I should have never sold mine. I'm looking to trade services, gear, flies, cash, or secrets.
    Let me know,
    David

I have a 9', 6 weight SAS that had the top 5 inches broke off. I am having a rodmaker repair it for me, but it will be a fast 6 weight, and only about 8.5 feet long. It will surely change the action up a bit. I looked into getting Scott to fix it for me, but everytime I call or try to email, I cannot get an actual person, and no one responds to my emails.

    Chironomid,
Scott should replace the broken rod. They've done wonders for me in the past on broken rod warranty repair. I think they charge a 20 to 30 buck service charge and replace your broken section. I'm interested in 9 foot rods, as this series is great for beginning to advanced casters and I need a few to keep on hand as client rods.
