I have most of mine done. I just tested them out last weekend on the Yak and they kicked ass.

So, is it bad swap etiquette to have say 3-4 variations in your submission of sculpins...? Anyone?

I don't think it would matter, as long as they all catch fish :thumb:

Finished, they're going out tomorrow. I decided to call them MIA sculpins. If you guys happen to know what they may already be called then you should let me know. I didn't go off a pattern so for all I know, my name is the one and only. Set me straight otherwise. Oh, and it doesn't stand for what you think.....heh heh. :thumb:

Mine are in the mail and I'm off to MT for 17 days. My tie is a Crystal Sculpin Bugger. It combines the basic profile of the Wooly Sculpin with body elements of a Seal Bugger/Crystal Bugger and a small head of spun hair a la the Bow River Bugger. I'll post the pattern with the picture when it's up.

Hook: TMC 400 size 4 (6X long, heavy wire)
    Thread: 6/0 brown
Head: olive deer hair, spun and clipped short
Collar: olive deer hair tips, spun
Body: orange Ice Dub, picked out
    Hackle: olive schlappen
Tail: marabou, olive over golden yellow

    Hey guys,
My internet has been down and I stay logged in so i couldnt log in else where. Anyway, I am still waiting for zens flies and they will be sent when I receive his flies. They look great so far, and BTW southpaw is out. If i dont get zens flies i will send them out the first regardless. Thanks for all who made my life easier with envelopes and a buck or two!
