I've used SeaDek pads on my skiff for the last 2 years and they still look brand new. Just peel off the backing and attach to any clean surface. SeaDek will not fall off, but can be removed safely, without marring your paint or gelcoat. When I wash the boat... the salty flies gets rinsed.. When dry, I put them back into the fly box.. Never an issue with corrosion.

I bought them for my kayak also. Perfect when switching flies for different species.
