    Hi guys,
I just finished my 6ft 6in 2 wt tiger eye rod build. It came out better than I had expected but I had some help from a friend for doing the epoxy work and helping with the reel seat and grip. I used a fishhawk chestnut as my main thread and a sunburst and tan as my trim colors it looked great. It is a present for a good friend of mine for Christmas. After I finished the rod and saw how good it felt and casted I am going to make one for myself but possibly with a different blank perhaps a batson if I can get one that size and weight in olympic green. If we wouldnt be fishing together so much I would be inclined to build on the same blank. I could just use different thread colors but the ones I picked looked the best. I will post some pics on here when I figure out how to do it or get the wife to put them on. I just wanted to thank all of you who responded to my pleas for help when I was having problems. It kept me going when I was about to give up and have someone else finish it. Merry Christmas all and happy new year.
