Purely out of curiousity, I'm wondering who we would elect as president, if the election were decided solely by WFF members.

I really don't want to see this devolve into a bunch of bickering over who's best, and hope the moderators will respond accordingly if it does.

No need to say who you want--just cast your vote in the poll and leave it at that.

I just realized, that we should also (like Backyard and others) cast our vote for a president from among our own ranks.

I see Mingo is doing well so far.

    Happy voting!!

I would have to go with Old Man, because we just don't have enough politicians who say it like it is. No one would mess with Jim. And there certainly is not enough use of the middle finger in politics.

    Cheers.

I hope you weren't hoping to get serious responses.:D

I'm going with Hasselhoff. If he's god enough for the Germans, he's good enough for me.

I voted for myself. Because I have way more posts than the rest of you. Besides who I vote for or not is nobodys business but my own.

But I did register and voted just last week. Godda love how things work here in Montana. No lines to stand in.

Curious why fly forums are normally left wing, and gear sites are right wing?

I happen to be one of the rare right-winged fly guys on this site.

Just curious as to how many people here vote For a candidate as opposed to voting Against the other candidate?

I find myself voting against Obama, not for McCain.

PP, I can fly fish with my left wing, my right wing and my winged flies have both a left and a right so that I can cast them straight.

Seriously, vote for mumbles, attentive listener, types like a yeoman (read administrative assistant) and would run on a platform that those who choose to fly fish at lunch get as long as they would like and can opt to stay away from work when the fishing is good. You do have to make up the time, but you are fly anglers, an honest bunch that can keep track of your water hours, right?

Scoones, Coach, Mingo, throw in Salmo G all excellent candidates. The press secretary has to be Wadin' Boot though, or I'm not supporting the ticket.
