Short float on the Yakima

    Took a short float today on the Yakima, short because the temps were supposed to reach 100 degrees, and had a bit of luck thanks to our capable guide, Aron Larsen of Crow Feet guides of Roslyn. Here my son Charles catches a 20 inch Cutthroat on a pheasant tail nymph. The vigorous trout breaks Aron's wooden net as he lands the trout. Charles is fishing an 8 ft bamboo rod by Wayne Maca.

    A fine trip despite the heat, high water and rafters.

    Love the fishes expression in the first picture!

    Kinda like...hey camera man this is my good side.

    Water might have been high but it looks like great color
