Short Lake Lenice report

Discussion in 'Fly Fishing Forum' started by Kent Lufkin, Sep 17, 2004.

  1. Windy, calm, clear, cloudy, bright sun early, light rain late, 60º surface water temp. No visible hatch activity but plenty of late season ovipositing adults (dragons, damsels, mayflies). Tough fishing but my partner and I barely avoided a skunking. The RBs we touched were big, hard-bodied and strong and fought well. Five other guys looked to have caught about a half dozen fish between 'em.
