flies are in the mail Ron!
Mine just went in the mail too!
Thanks for the update Steve. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for them.
I just started tying them today and theyll be out friday. So youll get them early next week.
Desmond and Steve, your flies arrived in the afternoon mail. Looking good, Guys.
Trout990, I'm mailing the flies out on Monday afternoon. Hopefully yours will get here before then. (Check the first post as to due dates and shipping time.)
Ohh, opps, i thought the due date to send them was april 15th. My mistake.
Shipped. should be there tommorow Sorry I've be incognito....
Thanks for the heads up. Looking forward to seeing your flies.
Well, they're nothing special. I'm a bit disappointed in them as I wanted to try something new, but as time was limited I had to do something that worked and was easy. Man, there are days and weeks where work gets waaaay to much in the path of life!
Good news, flies arrived from James Mello and Trout990 today. I'll be shooting the pics and posting them on Sunday and shipping them out on Monday afternoon.
We still have one tier out and I'm hoping those flies arrive before I ship on Monday.
VEE is really ticked off. I don't let her see the flies until I take the pictures. She really wants to see what she's getting.
You folks tie some mean size 20 and smaller flies.
My apologies to Mike D. I think your flies arrived when I was gone and VEE just put them in the box for this swap. I missed the arrival and didn't post that your flies arrived.
All the flies are in! Nicely done Lady and Gents. Pictures this afternoon and mail out in the AM instead of afternoon.
you posted the arrival REE
Dang, Mike. That just means I'm loosing touch with reality, but then that was a given wasn't it.
Just a couple more pics to shoot then package for shipping. Very nicely done one and all.
The pictures are up in the gallery. My thanks to all of you for putting so much effort into these flies. Having swappers that make the deadline makes being a swapmeister soooo easy, and this was an easy swap for me.
Your flies are ready for mailing and will hit the post office in the AM.
If you didn't provide a recipe with your flies, please post it in the gallery for all those folks that want to copy your patterns.
Thanks again for all your efforts.
The pics look great, I can't wait to see them in person. Thanks for holding the swap.
Another flawlessly executed swap by the master of swaps. Thanks Ron and all of the participants.:beer2:
Aw gee, Warren, now ya got me blushing. See ya Wednesday night at Ft Lewis.
I received my flies in the mail today and they look better in person than they do in the pics. Great job everyone and thanks again to Ron.
Got mine too. Nice Ties all around. I dropped mine on the carpet while trying to put it away in my box and cant find it though. I bet my feet will some morning though...
Trevor, as one who has done this more than once (so I'm a slow learner) try a flashlight with the light shining across the carpet fibers. If that fails, I think most were on barbless hoks anyway. No big deal.
