Looking at older rods for a small stream/backwater rod. I can't make heads or tails out of the weight system. Is there a table I can use to convert with? Jeff.

Some brands, like Fenwick Feralite, used model numbers that are easily translatable into length and line weight data. For other brands, you'd need the Rosetta Stone or factory catalog data.
Hey this is great! I have an old South Bend bambo that has never been used. Always been in the tube. Never knew what the 'HCH' converted over to todays line weight/size was. Now I know! //Charlie
