  1. fished from 7 to 12:30 below lewis street. Tried everything in the book with no success. Finally, as a last resort riffle hitched a "gay caballero" which is basically fluorescent cerise and fluorescent chartreuse. After working down a 100 yard run VERY CAREFULLY, a silver rolled on it, but didn't mouth it. Very exciting!
