    Jack,
Not fishing related, there is a nice railroad museum in town and a website that has some information on it if you are interested in the local history.

    Jack,

The Sky is getting ready for spring runoff to break loose. Fishing doesn't open until June 1 or the first Saturday in June - - check the regs. As far as anadromous fish in the SF Sky around the town of Skykomish, WDFW doesn't usually begin hauling fish above the falls until July, unless something's changed.

When the season does open there are fish to be had. You just have to know where to look. Go to the tribs. Do a little exploring.

Thanks. Hadn't fished the Sky in over 40 years. Forgot about all that water up that way.
Was thinking of some trout fishing.

I would recommend waiting until June, when it's open.

And perhaps a little deeper in to June...let the crowds die down and if you can, a week day will be much better! ;)

What crowds. The only thing you have to worry about is the run off. From the amount of snow you guys got, it would be better to wait until July to play in the skinny water up in there.
