    I recently inherited a s & w model4516-1. It has two magazines one has a yellow cartridge follower & the other has a orange cartridge follower. What is the difference betwine the two magazines ?

    I don't think there is any. My 1076 had some with black and some with white. They all functioned the same and were all purchased around the same time.

    It's of no consequence if the followers are made the same physically.
