I am building my 3 wt and was wondering should I spent 3 more times of money for the TiCH snake guides? or just stick with the common one - hard chrome...

Could somebody tell me what is the difference in the proformance?
    Thanks,

    Mark

You won't see any real difference in performance in terms of casting. The TiCH guides will last longer as they won't wear as quickly, but that's about it. Since this is your first rod, I'd suggest you go on the cheap. If you get good at this, it's nothing to strip guides and rewrap.
