Used to hunt them down near Wawawi, but that was more than 25 years ago when my knees were young, among other things.

I don't know, but when you find them shoot me an email!

On a more serious note...the last edition of Upland Ulmanac has an article on chukar hunting. The article does not give you any ideas of where, just mostly tactics, but looking at the pictures makes me believe eastern WA or I guess Montana too.

I've made a personal pact that I will hunt chukar in the 'hills' this coming fall...something about hiking the open country in solitude and possibly getting a shot at one of these great birds has put a bug in me!

If you need a companion with a crazy choc lab let me know!

    Yep
He is a vizsla. Three year male
He really came into his own this year hunting and did well on quail and chukar. I have owned GSP's and Brittanies too. Really enjoy the breed. Very friendly and personable dogs

I have an eight year old male. My family has always had vizsla's, I think they are a great all around breed. Their wonderful pets and great hunting dogs. We spend most of our upland season around the Ellensberg area.
