I would say it is a medium to fast action rod. It feels pretty stought and is able to toss big bugs with Rio T14 heads no problem. Yet it is still very sensitive to "feel" and can also cast skaters with no problem. Its no where close to an XP or XTR on the fast end of the spectrum. It was comparable to my 8wt Sage sp+ in action, if that helps?

Honestly I guess I dont know?? It feels med/fast to me but could feel different to someone else. Its definately not a noodle but its definately not a very fast rod either.

I dont think I answered the question?? :hmmm:

Thanks for a clear answer to the question Patrick. You must have the same philosophy as I do. "tough decisions call for a firm maybe"
If nobody buys this beforeFriday bring it to the meeting there might be a buyer there.

    Patrick:
I went out and cast this beauty today in the snow. Man I can really put out the line. I figure now I will be able to fish most of the Ronde without leaving the parking lot. :thumb:
    Thanks
