Some firsts...

    For those of you who know me on a personal level, I am all about passing it on. My passion of fly fishing that is. When ms. Camo clad warrior asked me to start fishing I was very excited. She received a pontoon and fishing equipment for Christmas and was ready to rock. She received some casting lessons and rowing instruction and we headed to a local lake that holds a large amount of 6" cutts. She insisted on learning to do this the correct way and did everything on her own. She is simply a trooper and ended out fishing everyone on the trip with 10 to hand. The picture I'll post is of the first one. First fly outing, first pontoon trip, and first fish on a fly. Very proud day for me...

    That's terrific. You showed great judgement in getting her the stylish blue reel.
