Hi can you doodle dan catching a rainbow
Bored listening to a lecture on things that I've learned many times before. This class is a joke. So I drew a little something. I don't think it is particularly good, but I was dreaming of my time on a western cascades river full of coastal cutthroat and what I used to catch most of them, a montana bucktail and a little black soft hackle.
I've never seen Dan's face, so here is what I have seen of him catching a double rainbow.

That's a happy lookin troot! That's how I spent many of my classes, too.
My steelheading experience:
What a great thread plaegreid!
I am a lucky Dad because my daughter can doodle, and then she made this cool linoleum stamp and stamped me out a nice rockfish print! Thought I would share it because I like it so much.
That is the stamp on the bottom and the print she made with it, each stamp side by side.

That's a really cool stamp, Jeff!
Not fish, but with my recent pastrami smoking on the mind and being bored out of my gourd, I got to sketching out the smokehouse I learned to smoke it. It was my grandfather's, 4 feet square and 6 feet tall. Cinderblock base with the fire box 3 feet lower, connected by a stove pipe. This allowed us to cold smoke at only 10-15 degrees above air temp. I plan on recreating this when I buy a house some day. We put 80 pounds of salmon filets in there once. A 5 person, 5 day trip of limiting out on silvers to Neah Bay maxed that bad boy out. Great memories to escape learning.....

That is some fantastic work. I may have to get you to do some salmon and steelhead doodles for my mancave.
I have to start doing this - my results won't be as nice as yours, but maybe with practice?
Go for it! You can only get better (barring injury or trauma)
Ok, time for squid.

And here is a chum salmon that my wife thinks looks like the patagonia logo:

Same paintings, but inverted in Photoshop for all the stoners. The colors, man, are like, far out.

I think the Photoshopped versions are great!
Yup.. painting is difficult unless you can get away with tossing cans of different colors of house paint onto giant canvases.
Workin hard today.
