I want to make some glue-egg-sucking leeches for the fall. Where do I find the colored glue sticks?

Perhaps I should have been more clear.

Does anyone have a good/reliable/trustworthy source for red/pink/orange hot glue sticks that at least come close to matching eggs? Given that glue eggs and MOE flies aren't exactly uncommon, I figure people must be getting them somewhere. All I can find are a couple of hole in the wall places selling them on the internet. I try to avoid buying from random sketchy sites if I can. But if anyone here has had success ordering them, I'd like to hear about it. A recommendation isn't a guarantee, but I'd rather have a recommendation than casting my credit card about to sites I've never heard of.

    Is everybody okay?

Some of your belliwash arts and crafts stores may have them. My local stores have them sometimes.

    Josh,
You will have no problems with Bears Den. They are a reliable outfit, have plenty of stuff and offer excellent customer service. One of the things I like about them is that they only charge ACTUAL shipping costs and will find the least expensive shipping method. ie if you only order a package of hooks and they can send it for 50 cents that's what it will be. Glue eggs work.

The sticks are from Wapsi, if you ask your supplier might special order the colors you want.

You can always try the colored UV fly paint stuff too.I don't think they have a lot of colors available but most local shops carry them.

That's exactly the kind of advice I was looking for Jackd, thank you.

I've called the craft stores around here, no dice. If we had a real fly shop, I'd see about ordering some through it from Wapsi, but we don't. So it's pretty much down to mail order.
