Hey Guys ( and Gals): I am looking for the names of some decent spey cast DVD's for my hubby. He is a pretty short guy ( 5'4) so I am guessing the techniques may be a little different than for tall guys. Anyway, if anyone has some recommendations ( Christmas present!) please let me know. He just got a 2-handed 13' rod so it looks to be a hand full.
    Thanks!

Rio's Modern Spey Casting is a good overview of several styles and good teaching vehicle as well.

SkagitMaster 1 is terrific if your husband is inclined that way. I'm about 5'6" myself (used to be 5'8") and Skagit/sustained anchor is, I believe, the easiest and easiest to get into...at least to begin with.

    YMMV

+1 to Mac's suggestions vis a vis casting. Not much in the way of actual fishing techniques in either. That said, this is not my fav. on the casting learning curve, but is heavy on the actual fishing bit: Spey Fishing Steelhead with John Hazel
