Wrapped mine up last night. You should have them early this week. I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone else put together! I'm always looking for new good ideas.

I messed up, I read the description of the swap wrong and tied 16 total of the same pattern, Instead of two patterns 8 each.
I dont know how much time I am going to have to throw together another another pattern before Saturday since I have mid-terms this week.
Would anyone have a problem with receiving 2 sub-par caddis emergers from a beginning tyer? If so i can try and work something out.

Fine here; give them wings to the post office.

Kelvin, think your package arrived today...ones in a Gami hook sleave?
No toe tags, but probably yours. I'll tag them up.
I've double counted and looks like 2 nice patterns, but 7 each.
Got to figure out something.... 9 tiers; with 2 patterns - 8 each.
I'll throw in a couple extra flies so everyone at least gets 16 patterns back, but someone else is going to get duplicated.
A little luck also maybe from the post office, a 44 cent stamp usually not enough for larger envelopes.

    The fun of e-communicating...

In my attempts to simplify, think might have made it more confusing for some; hopefully not all.
My intent was myself and 8 other tyers (total of 9); see the original post listing all of the tyers.
I'm aware if you have 9 tyers, no need for 9, but 8 since most don't need their own returned, that's why I inted just 8 double sets complete.

From earlier, "Responding to your question, there'd actually be nine tiers including myself. Didn't think the need to mail back your own patterns since you know what they are; thus the eight flies/2 each."

There's obviously been some confusion and in the future I'll go the old route of everyone sending complete sets with the presumption you know you'll get one of your own sets back.
I hope everyone understands now there's a total of 9 tyers, not 8.
(As of today, total of 7 ready to mail back out...waiting for 2 more)

I'm not sure if others got this, but don't want anyone to feel they were robbed.
If needed I will personally add the extras flies.

I think in your numbering include yourself next time
    thats what I looked at
the number on the first post (8)
    and did one less

I will put another 2 flies in the mail tomorrow will that add up?

Thanks, but don't worry about it Kelvin.
It might be a mute point; I think one other set is in the mail now, but another tyer despite PM's seems to be missing in action.
In other words we might get 7 or 8 sets anyway.
If need be I'll cover slack.

This Sunday/Monday I'll be making the photos for posting, splitting them up, and mailing them back.

My flies are not toe tagged, but they will be easy for everyone to know they are mine, because they are exactly what I said I would tie originally. If that doesn't work, mine are the size 14 chironomids tied on scud hooks with a copper bead, white antron gills out the top of the bead, peacock herl collar, one pattern is black bodied with red ribbing and the other is a chromy with red ribbing. They are on their way, and they are on time.

    Ira..

Thanks Kelvin, received and will be included.
    Thanks for the additional postage...

Speaking of which, Upsfisher, did you throw in postage?
I think all your flies got here fine , but there was a big 1" tear hole in the envelope which looked pretty mangled itself.
Maybe you didn't know, but try to remember to pad and container you flies next time.
Also, I need a complete addresse in order for me to make up an envelope and return to you.
The PO guy needs a complete address or will not go through...
