Geez, the next thing that we're going to see is an anatomically correct blowup Barbie.
You need to turn that meter up to 11 my friend. All a good ribbin'...
Ed's (Mumbles') deceiver from the winter coho swap was the fly of the day today in full sunlight all day, difficult dub-word conditions, etc, when other flies failed, his deceiver got me into a good number of fish.
FDC, that is scary, might catch some rockfish, cabezon or something scary.
Tex, thanks, sarcasm or not if it gets them talking it is all good with me.
Jim, glad that thing worked out...I liked tying that pattern and for a change it is good to hear about a fly of mine bringing good to the cause. I just had to put that color combo together, I thought it would catch fish...I do wish it was me catching them though.
Nice job Mumbles, NFR..so what, we can all use a little humor, I like it, I like the post.
Keep in mind "Rodeo11 is a Coug" what else do you expect?
That is priceless. If it does not catch any fish then it would make a great avatar. I would be very careful with her though because Old Man Jim may see that and come after her.:rofl::rofl:
Thanks Gator. That is a thought.
If you push her head down, she kicks one foot up.
I have an old lure that my father purchased well over 50 years ago and is still in the original box. It is a guy inside a barrel with treble hook attached to his feet. When you pull down on the hook he comes out of the barrel and something else comes up. Never have seen a joke lure like this one. It may even be worth some $$ to a collector. My father bought it I would guess in the 30's.
Mumbles - I thought it was funny as well!!
Seems like Meat Chucker's MEAT is wrapped up a little too tight in his meat chuckin' undies!
Glad so many of you don't take everything so seriously...meanwhile others knickers are in such a twist they are becoming hypoxic.
I was wondering if you were still around. I tried to get on that other web site but it didn't remember me.
On another note I had a lure called the kitchen sink. It looked like the sink. It had two handles and the spickit(sp) with a treble hook attached. I think that I got it from Mingo at one of the Cedar River cleanups.
Jim.... one old bastard that is still kicking. :thumb::thumb:
