Mine are finished. I ended up tying The Raccoon Fly & The Beach Fly. Both of which are my variations of the pattern.

Mine were finished a week ago and have been sitting on my tying desk. I will get them in the mail soon.

  11. I'm done. Yellow spider, black and yellow spider, october caddis skater, and a sparse muddler type thing. Might do a caddis larva thingy if the prototypes work out in the morning.

    Dave -
While I'm not part of the swap I was wondering if you have ever tried using chukar for your spiders? - makes a cool looking fly; either reversed or regular.

sure do. I love the flank feathers on chukars. They make good eyes on shrimp flies as well.
usually have to wait until later in teh season to get good ones. most of the ones I shot this weekend were either really wet cause of the rain or still growing in.

Do we need to send them in early? Mine have been finshed for a month but i thought i might change my mind on a pattern so i figured there was no big hurry to get them in the mail. I guess i will mail them out tomorrow.
