ok. well that was fun. Now that we got all that figured out. :thumb:
Mine are finished. I ended up tying The Raccoon Fly & The Beach Fly. Both of which are my variations of the pattern.
Hopefully my turkey hunting friends will harvest something so that I can tie said flies.:thumb:
mine are packed up and ready to go. just have to get some stamps on the package and put it in the mail.:thumb:
They are in the mail as of yesterday. please post up when you get them.
David, received your flies. They are really good looking!
Thanks Scott. uh oh... missed a barb on that one.
Whoops. Guess this is over....
Mine are all finished! I've only gotten D3Smarties so far...
Mine were finished a week ago and have been sitting on my tying desk. I will get them in the mail soon.
I'm done. Yellow spider, black and yellow spider, october caddis skater, and a sparse muddler type thing. Might do a caddis larva thingy if the prototypes work out in the morning.
While I'm not part of the swap I was wondering if you have ever tried using chukar for your spiders? - makes a cool looking fly; either reversed or regular.
sure do. I love the flank feathers on chukars. They make good eyes on shrimp flies as well.
usually have to wait until later in teh season to get good ones. most of the ones I shot this weekend were either really wet cause of the rain or still growing in.
Fish tested milf approved
Good looking flies hedburner!
Think I was banned for some reason, the flies will be done in time.
I havent forgotten. mine will be done on time. :thumb:
Wow... I guess a 10/30 due date was a little long... Mine are done, and I've gotten D3Smarties...
Do we need to send them in early? Mine have been finshed for a month but i thought i might change my mind on a pattern so i figured there was no big hurry to get them in the mail. I guess i will mail them out tomorrow.
no, you don't need to send them in early.... it'll be the 30th soon enough..
