SRC - Guide

Been lurking in the saltwater forum for the past couple of weeks reading new and old SRC posts. My youngest boy gets home tonight from college and is here for 3 weeks.

We've discussed fishing while he is here and we're bouncing around the idea of trying our hand at SRC fishing on and around the Puget Sound.

We're restricted to beach fishing since we have no boat. To help speed up the learning curve I am looking for some recommendations for a guide.

Any thoughts and/or ideas for a guide would be most appreciated.

    Merry Christmas.

  2. Although I've never used a guide, Doug Rose and Bob Triggs are names that come to mind.

  4. Both Doug Rose and Bob Triggs are excellent choices.

  5. I definitely vouch for both Doug Rose and Bob Triggs. In fact, I'd have a tough time deciding between them.

  9. The guys at the Gig Harbor Fly Shop guide for searun cutthroat as well. They also fish out of kayaks so you can cover more water and not have to worry about the abundance of private property.
  10. Capt. Bill Drewry at Peninsula Outfitters guides out of his Boston Whaler, but I don't think he operates this time of year.
  11. Ben at Pacific fly fishers!
