Hi everyone especially north sound steelheaders. Well, over the river and through the woods to grandmothers house we went. Here's what I saw today (Tu.1st) from I-5 in route to Blaine from Lynnwood.

Snohomish - sorry I was reading my steelhead tying manual.
Stilly - water level down but colored a bit, deep green, three to four feet of visibility. Bar visible above freeway.
Pilchuck Creek - level low but pretty clear, less color than Stilly.
Skagit - fairly low, bar up above railroad bridge well exposed. Nice color, not quite pea green.
Samish - good visability, like the Pilchuck but not as low.
Whatcom Creek- high water, fairly clear, Raining steady. I believe the creek is closed right now.
Nooksack River - High water lots of color but not muddy, raining hard.
Hope you have time to go fishing soon. Flyfisher Frank :LOVEIT
