I'm ready to see all the flies, this has been a great reading thread. It's late but I think I'm gonna go get cozy with my vice and some dead animals.

Ok, we're only waiting on Obiwan now. Marty and Diehard, I just got your flies - both fantastic. Marty, big kudos on the extras! It's always good to know my efforts as a swapmaster are appreciated :thumb:. Anyways, once I get Obiwan's ties, the pics will be up soon thereafter, then the forum post for the "Best of Show" pattern.

Flies have been tied and will have to be mailed this Sat. since my working hours do not coincide with those of the post office.

Anyone know Nick's address? I am ready to send these flies but don't have his address in my Inbox.

I wanted to let everyone know that these flies were sent yesterday, so we should be able to proceed with the swap soon. Sorry for the delay!

They'll be in the mail as soon as I can get them there, I've been pretty busy lately. Prize winners and finalists will have to wait a little bit more than everyone else. Photos and finalists will be up soon.

Obiwan - Yours went out with five or six extra flies as your prize. Pictures and the Best of Show thread should be up within the hour. Finalists are - Speyflyfisher's Jock-O-Dee, Hogwrangler's GBS Variation, and Steve S's Prawn Pattern. Thank you all for tying some great looking flies, now get out and vote!

I also didn't know who actually wanted steel headbands, so chime in if you want me to mail you one separately.

I was on vacation in Alaska the last week and just got my flies today. I have to say that this is one of the best swaps that I have participated in, great flies everyone. Nick, I would love a headband. I used to show some of my friends the pic of you with the headband and tell them that you are the visual definition of a steelhead flyfisher, just pure determination. It looks like I missed the voting but I would've voted for the Jock O Dee, great looking pattern.
Thanks everyone for the great flies and Nick for hosting such a great swap,

    Steve
