SW Washington Hatch Charts Needed!!!!!

Discussion in 'Fly Fishing Entomology' started by SHARP, Jul 19, 2009.

  1. New to the area and I would like some hatch charts for the SW Washington. Any hel would be great.
  2. That's a super neat chart!
  3. Glad you like it, Cody.
  4. Really is a cool chart...
  5. Thanks, Josh.
  6. Wow!
    Roger thanks for sharing.
  7. It's my pleasure, John.
  8. Just put a Printer friendly link on the chart in case anyone wants to print it.
  9. What would really help would be links to pictures. Great chart though!

  10. Taxon is the man. I passed by him for a mere moment at the Jimmy Green Memorial. I saw his nametag and introduced myself and told my family that Taxon was the bug man. I had previously told my wife about a bug question or two that Roger had answered in text that was fantastic. He stopped what he was doing, went to his vehicle, came back and handed me one of his charts that he had brought to the event for me just in case he had run into me. Yet one more instance of meeting top notch people from WFF. Thank you for that chart then Roger, and for continuing to attempt to educate those of us here that have limited knowlege about aquatic insects that we should be trying to imitate.
  11. You are welcome, Ed. And, thank you for the kind words. You are a real gentleman, and have a lovely family.

    Best regards,
  12. Hi Pete,

You may not remember, but we met several years ago at a tiny "C" lake in Snohomish County. Am not much of a photographer, but will look into getting permission to link to good photos others have taken.

    Best regards,
  13. Roger, that is the best hatch chart I have seen to date.

Linking photo's to it would make it by far the most useful chart out there, period. Thanks for sharing your hard work. I've already passed it on to a FF novice buddy of mine struggling with organizing aquatic insect identification, timing, etc., who was so appreciative to have all that information in one place.
  14. Salt Dog-

You're certainly welcome, and thanks for your kind words.
