I wanted to try, so I did. Happy results. DeathStar, 525 Skagit, 10' T-11, 8# Maxima leader and a stinger tied Popsicle with a gold cone head. Absolutely smashed it. While there was 0 surface action, the runs were pretty exciting on a 7 wt.

    Pretty stoked. :D

    Well
I was pleasantly surprised for sure. Under ideal conditions, he could have been 2-3 days from the salt.

Nice fish, reel looks good on that rod. Glad to see the mojo carried over.

The reel has participated in fishy encounters every time I have fished it so far. Even without the extra Mojo, it's a ass kicking reel. Count me as a new Lamson fan.

That must have been quite a feeling pulling that fish up on the bank! Wow, great job.
