Hi Folks! Im from Oregon and am wondering if anyone can give me some strategies or tactics for FINDING and flyfishing for flounder? Im looking at sand lake, but its hit and miss right now.
We used to catch the heck out of them in Newport back in the 60s and 70s, but THINGS CHANGE!
Any help would sure be appreciated!
This is a great board BTW!

I've gottne a number up here in Puget Sound targeting pinks with barbell eyed flies and an intermediate sink line. If you really want to target them, I would look for sand and eel grass and get down to the bottom with a weighted shrimp-ish pattern that you can tug along the bottom.
