...and Thursday morning I'll pack my lunch, check my gun and shells, and head into the coverts. I can't wait! Going to the trap range did little to settle my jitters, it just jacked me up breaking birds and smelling smoke. If that wasn't enough I'm considering taking my bow in the field, crazy huh? I've been punching the hay bales in the back yard with reasonable success, that means I can hit a bird sized target once and a while...:clown: It will be interesting to see how the birds survived the long, cold, wet spring we had. No matter, just being in the woods will be fun enough... report to follow next week...:thumb:
