the grandron .......

    A buddy of mine told me that this river is a pretty productive summer run steelhead river. I was thinking about heading over there this weekend sometime. If anybody has any info it would be greatly appreciated. ( I dont know if i spelled the name of the of the river right.) thanks

    That would be the Grande Ronde. Probably a bit early to find steelies there now. Supposedly late September thru early November is the season, with October historically being the most productive. These fish have a long way to go - up the Columbia, then the Snake, and finally the GR.
