Ever fish the Rifle River? Canoed that once and saw lots of fish...but didn't have a rod.

Looks like a great time. Not trying to be a smart arse but if it's fun, why aren't people holding beautiful birds and fish SMILING? I sure would be.

Andrew : I've never fished the Rifle but have heard some really good things. It's so hard to get away from the west side of the state with everything being so closed.

Ribka: We actually had a few opportunities on the last open day of woodcock but they were hard flyer's and made us look like rookies.

Upton O: I think we're so stunned the we have actually knock a bird down for how many we miss or tag a fish for the hours we invest that we forget to smile. You should see the pics I didn't post of us crying on each others shoulders....haha.

Very nice trip report it seems. How can you beat fun in the great outdoors, productive hunting, fishing and a nice streamside lunch of brats with a buddy? Very well done. Thanks for sharing.
