The Shaggy-delic Laser Fry

    Here's a nice little two-minute streamer. The use of the fish skull makes it ride nice and straight and keeps the fly from keeling over when stripped. Good stuff...

    "Shaggy-Delic Laser Fry"

    Hook: Size 8-4 Scud or Egg hook (Tiemco 2457 or 2499SP)
    Thread: 8/0 Brown UTC
    Head: Small Olive Fish Skull
    Body Rear: Rear -- 2 clumps "Tan" Shaggy Dubbing
    Body Front: -- 1 clump "Pheasant Tail" Shaggy Dubbing
    Wing: "Sculpin Olive" Senyo's Laser Dubbing

    Nice. I would've thought with the fish skull on there it would flip the hook upside down.

    Big_E, have you used the fish skullz? The bottom section is much thicker making it weighted on that lower side. I think they are awesome. That is a cool pattern. I love that it is simple too.

    Couple times but never on a smaller pattern such as this. Haven't had one wet yet. I'll have to tie some up now that I'm curious as to how it swims.

    Don't get me wrong, I really like this pattern.
