This may be may favorite reel seat I have built so far

    Finished this one a while back, but the more I look at it the more I like it. It has an insert diameter of .625, weight is 1.4 ounces. The hardware is machined from Stainless Steel and the wood used is Bocote. Is suited well for a 4 or 5 weight rod.

    Not yet. Will be soon. I am a machinist so the metal work comes easy, having to learn the wood side of things.

    Finished this one for a customer. Green dyed buckeye burl insert with matching inlays in the sliding hood and end cap.
