    Yakima River Clean-up Day
The staff, management and professional guide team of Worley-Bugger Fly Co. is proud to announce the fifth annual Yakima River Clean-Up Day.

The guides and employee's of Worley-Bugger Fly Co. will be collecting litter and other refuse from the river bed and the banks of the Yakima River from the Rinehart Park boat launch to the Roza Dam boat launch on Saturday, November 2nd, 2002.  We invite all who are interested in keeping our Yakima River clean and pristine to join us for a day on the river.

As a professional guide service we are aware that added pressures from us are applied to the fish, river and environment over the length of the season.  We feel a responsibility to this incredible resource and consider ourselves fortunate to have the ability to show others the Yakima River.  Therefore, it is our duty to actively participate in coordination of a "Yakima River Clean Up Day.  By doing so, we can ensure a healthier environment for the fish, wildlife and other inhabitants of the Yakima and it's surroundings.
Worley-Bugger Fly Co. will provide coffee and pastries at the Ringer Road boat launch from 7:00-8:00 a.m.

At this time, instructions on the clean up will be discussed.  Participants with boats will be designated to a section of the river for the day.

Additional boat space left available will be filled on a Pre Registration Basis for those who do not have a boat.  Those participants that register first will be selected to float for the day.  When all boat spaces have been filled, those without boats will be asked to work the river banks and boat launch area's with a participating guide.  Working together we can all make a difference in the appearance of the river and it's surroundings.

A barbecue will be held at the Worley-Bugger Fly Co. Pro-Shop at 306 South Main in Ellensburg proceeding the clean up.  Donated prizes from some of the industries leading fly fishing manufactures (below) will be awarded to groups and select individuals in several different categories after the event.
