My Zimbabwe hunting trophies were accepted by Customs last week after a couple of days of "issues". It appears the packing crate and materials did not have the correct stamp indicating all of it had been treated to prevent introduction of bugs or disease in the wood, which held up the process. I was worried they were going to ship everything back to Zimbabwe or incinerate it all. The stamps were finally found and the hides and skulls are at the taxidermists in Portland. Another 8-10 months and they should be done and here.

It is a very slow process.

I just got my antelope back from the taxi and couldn't stop staring at it on the wall last night.
