Sounds like you might be having the same issues as me. See the thread I posted, I got some good feedback. Unfortunately problem still isn't fixed.

Send Chris and Ibn your IP address. I know Chris can, and think Ibn can, help resolve this. I just sweep up the sawdust. Not really very tech saavy. Sorry I'm not more help.

Ed, it's not just a few guys. I've been blocked from just WFF my home network for a few weeks too, and this is the third time in the past few months (I gave up sending my IP address to you). Every other website in the world welcomes me. And my PC is not infected - it's a Microsoft IT-managed machine that is pure as new Montana snowfall. One reason I know it's pure is that it is wiped and gets a fresh install of the latest test build of the OS weekly. So I'm pretty sure the WFF server blocking so many of us are seeing is a systematic error that Chris needs to fix on the WFF server. Getting blocked and repeatedly re-sending my IP address to Chris to manually unblock seems like an inefficient way of handling this.

I am not familiar with this terms "limitations" Ed.. can you explain it to me?

As a side note, I've been on Comcast for a very long time and haven't had any problems. I'm sure Chris and Ibn will figure it out.

I clicked on my WFF shortcut this morning and, voila, Washington Fly Fishing forums page popped up. Imagine my elation.

Chris had to, and did, fix my problem and apparently others. Whilst wrestling with this issue, I found out a couple of things. If you go to a site like whatismyipaddress.com, you can find out what ip Comcast (or whoever your isp is) has assigned you. Then you can go to another site to research blocked ip addresses, likely due to spam. I found my ip address is on several blocked sites because some f#@ktard who was assigned the same ip before me used it to send spam/porn or whatever. NO, you can't get it unblocked, and NOo, you can't get Comcast to release it and issue you another ip address, even though they randomly do it all the time, and NO, you can't release and renew the ip address yourself. I fricking hate Comcast. A pox on them. Don't know if others are any better.

Bottom line, thanks Chris and Ed.

I can tell you Wave sucks, and Verizon used to. I am in the process of switching ISP and phone over to Frontier which bought Verizon. I have no great expectations that it will be any better. I have already switched our television over to Dish from Wave The Dish menu system and channel guide suck big time but the picture quality blows Wave away. They can pack Joey up someone ass is what I think of Dish's DVR product.
