Trout Grass... the movie

    I didn't find any other threads that mentioned this movie, but I just watched it (rented for $3 on Amazon Prime) and thought I'd share its existence.

    I didn't put this in the Arts & Literature thread because it's a pretty low budget film and it doesn't look particularly great. The narrator was annoying at times—as if he couldn't decide if he was telling a story, reporting facts, or entertaining the audience with funny voices... I was dismayed to find out that it's the voice of David James Duncan—author of "The River Why", one of my favorite books of ALL TIME!

    But, if you're into the art of building bamboo rods, this is a film to watch.

    I'll agree that it's worth watching if you have any interest in bamboo.
