How did I miss that??? Must be because my eyes are half closed already. This getting dark early thing sucks.

Derek, shoot me a few lines for inspiration...
Paul, sorry you woke the kids. Should the next one be more serious? I'm just playing around for stress relief.

I think there's plenty of fodder in previous threads, Ed. Just be careful of slander.

I did not hook you at all...and I never named names...only posted pictures. I still have some hate mail PM's from that trip.

Ed, were you practicing "chuck & duck" on your trip with Mr. Young?? We'll need a no-fly zone around you next time:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

The way I'm reading it, sounds like there needs to be a no-fly zone enforced around everyone else for Ed

I was lucky to fish with Leland one day on some secret water. He worked through the run first, then came up to observe my spey casting and said something to the effect of "Mumbles, you are dangerous". He found about five fatal flaws in my casting stroke and one by one talked me out of one, then the next, then the next and so on. By the end of that session I was feeling comfortable, had not hooked myself in a couple hundred casts and was feeling good about it. Leland did drop some dirt on a poster in this thread that "might be more dangerous than me with a spey rod". He knows who he is.

No fly zone? Around me? Well, safety first. Guess it is a good thing that I'm really enjoying rowing!

Ok Ed, fess up. You overheard Jessie and Joe going at it didn't you? Well, except the spey rod thing, it's almost a spot on discussion they'd have. Man, I'm rolling.

Well, I did and he didn't even throw me overboard....of course it was just a slight "surface wound" that didn't penetrate too far......:clown:

Another great reason to go barbless I guess, the piercings are much easier to remove
