The title says is all, i am headed to sun lakes this weekend with a few buddies, some pontoons, and some beers. I have been fishing those lakes my whole life and know them very well and fishing is almost too easy on a regular basis there. I want to switch it up and try my hand at chironomid fishing. if swung by pacific fly shop got some basic pointers and gear for pass lake (never made out) and if am wondering it the same colors/size/etc. as pass lake or will I need to re-gear and get some new style of chiro flies. any pointers would be great, will be focusing on perch lake and deep lake (best protection from the wind)

#14 black or green bodied chronies should work. I think that hanging depth would be more important for the opener than color for the opener on Park or Blue.

Stop by Desert Fly in Ephrata if you are heading to Park / Blue.
