Guys, how things are going? Are you tying or just thinking? Could you update the status?

I am buried at work and was shooting for month-end. I will be sending two each of different squid patterns from Mark Mendel and Les Johnson. I have had great success with this pattern on Coho in the salt in Washington and BC. On one occasion I had a 14 pound Coho hit and stick, driving the tube squid up the leader. A second Coho slammed the tube on the surface. Thanks for your patience.

    Guys,
No big rush, no need to FedEx or Express mailing it.
Just let me know when you mail it so we all just know when we're going to have them.

Sent them in the mail on the 15th via UPS. I had difficulty paying for return postage b/c of the PO Box, UPS told me they could not print out a return label without knowing the return weight and date. You will have to let me know what I owe for the return postage, and I will mail you a check.

I hope everyone likes the flies--they are literally the first 14 tubes I have ever tied.

    OK,
I've got Anil's and Ed's flies in today...
The only person left is Steve Rohrbach, and I'll PM him asking about the status...

    Guys,
I've got the message from Steve Rohrbach, here it is:

Roman, sorry for the delay. I have been working on ****** deal for the past 4 months that has required lots of overtime and travel. I am tying 2 different tube patterns. I want to finish. I would suggest, send the flies that you have to people. Send me the distribution list and I will send my flies out in the next week or so. When you get my flies, you can send me the flies from the others. I think you guys will like what I am doing as they are good saltwater Coho tubes. Please let me know if this will work. Again, sorry for the delay. Steve

I suggest that we do as he suggested - I do send flies to everyone, and Steve sends his out as soon as they are ready.
Please post your opinion if possible, so I start the final part of the process.

    Roman

    Well,

I'm going to make pictures of all flies tonight, and tomorrow all packs will be out in the mail.
And Steve will have everyone's addresses so he sends his flies out as soon as he finishes them.

Just curious, did you get a chance to ship the flies? I haven't seen mine yet.
