As my first tying post on the board, figured I'd post a couple tubes I've been spinning up lately.

Nicely tied, should definitely do the trick.

Thanks guys. They very widely between the 4 but here's the recipe:
    Tube: Protube 40/40 Flexitube
Head: Protube Soft Sonic Cone Size LG
Weight(if desired): Pro Tube Flexiweight size Medium/Large
Butt: Ice Dub (Shell Pink, Steely Blue, etc.)
Rear Collar: Ostrich or Rhea (the orange one is using Rhea) spun in a loop with Natural Lady Amherst spun in front.
Body: Flat Diamond Braid any color, I like Pearl, Pink, or Purple. Usually lighter then the ostrich collar. Winding a thin dry fly hackle over it is cool if you want, the orange on above has it.
Front Dubbing Ball: Ice Dub, whatever color
Front Collar: Artic Fox, spun and color to compliment ostrich/rhea collar, then ostrich or rhea, spun an color of choice, then two strands Krystal Flash down each side, natural Amherst spun
Flanks: Jungle Cock, tied long down sides
    Hackle: Black Schlappen

I prefer thin Ostrich for these flies, as it flows the best and is longer then most Rhea. Also, keep the ostrich sparse and not in clumps for the best effect.
