March Brown season is upon us. Using the umbrella hooks I created this pattern and tested it on the Yakima the other day. Nothing rose to it but nothing was rising to the few naturals either - water is still a little cool and I found one single dun on the water. Floats well though and promises to fish well when they start looking up. Had to satisfy my 'hunt' Wednesday with Baetis...

    • Hook - Large Umbrella
    • Thread - Light Brown
    • Abdomen - Hare's Ear Plus Dubbin Rusty Orange
    • Abdomen overlay - Pheasant tail fibers
    • Ribbing - Light brown thread
