I fished for cutthroat yesterday on the Hood Canal, off the mouths of several creeks, with no luck. I did hook a small perch-like fish over the eel grass beds. It was just a few inches long with two vertical dark bars and two yellow bars on its sides. Does anyone know what it was?

    I might be old---but I'm good.

Not to get away from fishing, but When I was young(it has been along time ago). We used to catch those fish by the bucket full of the old ferry dock in Bremerton. I don't remember if we ate them or sold them, but they were easy to catch with a hand line. Jim :THUMBSUP
